Costa Rica Honey

from $11.00

Roast level: City

Varieties: Caturra, Catuai
Producer:
San Diego Mill (Tarrazú, Costa Rica)
Altitude:
1200-1750m
Process: Honey
Notes: Red Fruit, Almond, Honey Sweetness
Body and Acidity: Balanced yet bright

Costa Rica being the birthplace of the honey process will naturally export some of the most delicious honey processed coffees. The honey process involves peeling the coffee cherry and letting the coffee seeds dry while entombed in their sugar rich mucilage. The result is a coffee bean that has absorbed a higher than usual amount of sugar, and you can certainly tell with this one. It is absolutely delicious as a lighter roast and offers some really cozy notes.
